Sallys' Friday Favourites

Feeling decidedly dejected with the weather and whole body/face thing this week, so played on picnik to enhance a photo of me to make me feel better........help!  Ended up looking like a cross between someone who had died ten years ago apart from a facemask and an alien.....so not a good look.

Perhaps I should just settle for a rejuvenating facial, eyelash extensions (where mine have gone i have no idea!) and possible a nice little dress....or even two. Last point this week....WHEN is season 6 of Dexter going to be released!!!  Seemed to have waited an eternity already!

Buffys' Friday Favourites

This week we have had our family to stay, so I have had a 3 year old in my bed all week and for all but one day he has been very sick so I now love my bed even more...now that it's all mine again, also I am coveting these Motel Jeans from Asos for £52, and the all in one from Topshop £34 as it's soooo cold. This evening we are also watching the final 2 episodes of our beloved Merlin Season 4 so very excited as I do love a bit of Merlin, and lastly I want Ashley Olsen's hair...and possibly her face too.

Hannah's Friday Favourites

My favourite things this week have been watching Keeping up with the Kardashians, listening to Madonna's new song and imagining myself laying on a hot beach somewhere-am so over this cold weather! I have also added these two items from Topshop to my new Summer Wishlist-pink striped shorts and this purple sleeveless shirt.

Hannah's Friday Favourites!

My friday favourites this week consist of a snowy picture as we all know its coming :( Also a hot water bottle as I need to be snug and warm to protect me from the snow.My other pictures include the 'This Means War' poster of the upcoming film which looks rather funny but I also just want to drool over Tom Hardy. The picture of the mentos represents the self loathing I felt last night as I continuously gorged on three packets-felt rather sick afterwards, whilst reading my new book 'Afterwards'by Rosamund Lupton.

Valentines Day

So here it comes again.....Valentine's Day.....that wonderful day if you are in a relationship.....where (hopefully) you are made to feel all is right with the world, you are special and loved.  Well that's great...and believe me I am pleased for you...but.....what about the rest of us who have yet to find that "someone special"?  Valentines Day is a curse for the single woman......it simple emphasizes the fact you have no special someone to love you.....and no card to look forward to, no delightful prezzy and no romantic meal and believe me it can feel like a big fat rejection!  So, do we stay under the duvets until the day has passed and avoid all the advertising hype leading up to it?  No of course not...we are modern women...have oodles of self worth and self confidence and of course we don't need a "special someone" to tell us we are loved and worthy. But why should we go without? So I am advocating that we treat ourselves...we embrace Valentine's Day ...and we show ourselves how much we love us.  So below are a selection of a few things to get you started. The delightful red statement shoes...the to die for Chanel red pillar box nail varnish and lipstick.....the "let's have a bit of fun" heart jumper and then go and buy yourselves some flowers...the bigger the better and if you want to REALLY SPOIL yourself......just go to the bottom of the page for the ultimate "gift to myself because I am loved and deserve it". Go girls.....
